Assigning Ad Hoc Tasks
The record may require additional tests to be run, documents to be reviewed, safety meetings to be held, etc., that need to be assigned to an individual with an expected due date along with any specific instructions for the task. A user with the appropriate rights can assign Ad Hoc tasks. Once the task has been created, the task assignee receives email notification
. All open tasks attached to a CAPA must be closed before the CAPA can be closed.
- From the record, click Other Actions > Assign Ad Hoc Task.
- Enter a name for the Ad Hoc task.
- Enter or zoom to select the role the task will be assigned to.
- Enter or zoom to select the user the task will be assigned to.
- Specify the due date for the task.
- Enter the task instructions.
- Click the Sign-off button.
Result: The Sign-off window is displayed.
- Enter your user ID and password and then click the Sign-off button.
Result: The task is assigned and routed to the assignee.
